Glorious Battle! Tt eSPORTS “WOW” Team Shows the World Outstanding Gaming Skill in Blizzcon 2010
The 2010 Blizzard Carnival, Blizzcon was held in the convention center in Anaheim, California. This is the first time ever the well-known software manufacturer Blizzard Entertainment® has invited all the world famous gaming teams to attend this international competition. Tt eSPORTS, Taiwan 2010 World of Warcraft (WOW) Champion (Original Face the Music) was honored to have been selected as one of the teams to join this event in United States.
More than ten countries and up to dozens of different teams from around the world were invited to participate in this event and World of Warcraft and StarCraft II were the two most eye catching games. The members of Taiwan 2010 WOW Champions, Kek, Gucchi and Mistake represented Tt eSPORTS to attend this event. To perfect his gaming skills with the other two members, Gucchi flew to Taiwan from Hong Kong to practice before his departure to compete in the US.
Captain “Kek” stated before the event, “It is an honor and we are glad to represent Taiwan to attend this event in the USA. We really appreciate Tt eSPORTS by Thermaltake for their full support and assistance. They have fully supported us with awesome gaming gears and have full confidence in us. We are going to do our best to bring the championship title back to Taiwan.”
At the preliminary games, Tt eSPORTS WOW Team had to compete against Arena Pwnage the 2nd place winners of last year’s Blizzcon Games. It was definitely a challenge as even Mistake stated that they knew they were going into the game playing one of the most competitive teams. However he wanted to let the world know that the Taiwan gaming market has definitely become mature enough to compete with the best team from around the world.
Tt eSPORTS Director, Tony Liu mentioned that Tt eSPORTS WOW team has shown the world that Taiwan gamers have already reached a certain level and has become a threat to other teams. Tt eSPORTS by Thermaltake will continually promote cutting-edge gaming gears and make even more effort to support gamers in order to create top-notch eSPORTS equipment.
Although WOW team lost to Arena Pwnage, they have demonstrated remarkable gaming skills and put a lot of pressure during the competition against Arena Pwnage. Through this event, Taiwan gamers realized that we are in a good position to take up any challenges and will continue to improve in order to bring the championship title back to Taiwan in the near future.
