Tt eSPORTS at ESWC with CS 1.6 Female Squad & Harpner

Today is the first official day of the Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC), where many of the world's best gamers will meet to battle it out for the championships in games like Counter Strike, Starcraft 2, DOTA2 and a host of others.

Tt eSPORTS is being represented at ESWC by Team Thermaltake's Counter Strike 1.6 Female Squad who received a direct invite to the competition this year and our sponsored eXtatus player Tomas 'Harpner' Brustik who qualified at the ESWC Czech Republic qualifiers.

With the ESWC World Finals being in Paris it meant the Tt eSPORTS Dragon Van was on the move yesterday arriving with the Team Thermaltake Female team in time for them to compete today against the worlds best female counter strike teams.

"Last year our female CS squad did a fabulous job at ESWC, the chemistry within the team was just perfect. However we didn't make it to the finales by losing in the group phase on only a few rounds. This year the competition is not looking bad either, but our Tt ladies are hot and strong. They are fully prepared to go for a top 3 position. I expect that our team will have Fun, and will give all competitors a bad day. With the favourites like Team Alternate which are also attending the ESWC, it won't be easy to win the event, but we will do our utmost effort to bring good results home. Read all about it on our website these upcoming days, with lots of pictures and coverage. I'm looking forward to it and I wish all teams and players fun at ESWC! "

Team Thermaltake have been drawn in Group 1 which will see them against teams from Portugal, USA, France, Spain and even Brazil.

Team eXtatus Manager Jan Barnet had the following to say about Harpner:
"Tomas "Harpner" Brustik is 21 years old StarCraft 2 player, who plays for our Czech e-sport team eXtatus and yesterday he travelled to Paris to compete at ESWC 2011. He is in a very tough group C together with ClouD, IdrA, nemuke, Lalush and Orly. We think he might surprise a few people and wish him a lot of good luck too!"

Good Luck to everyone at ESWC and we'll see you next month at Dreamhack Winter 2011 with the Tt eSPORTS Van with more of professional sponsored players with lots of activities throughout the festival.
