SENSOR TYPE : Optical vs Laser

Tt eSPORTS gaming mice use either an Optical or Laser sensor. Optical and laser mice are differentiated by the types of technology they use to track movement. An optical mouse uses a light emitting diode (LED) for illumination, whilst a laser mouse, as the self-explanatory name suggests, uses a laser for illumination. It is the difference in which the sensor detects movement, the environmental setup and gaming needs of the enthusiast that ultimately determines the choice of sensor type.
